It’s impossible for Barri to exist in this world as an artist and storyteller without also being an activist. She is passionate about abortion rights, the LGBTQ+ community, gun safety, the environment and climate change, among many other causes that fight for human rights and our ability to survive on this planet.

She is proud to have worked on Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, and was equally proud to support and canvas for Barack Obama in Philadelphia after he won the Democratic nomination. She is so dang excited to now use her voice to promote causes she believes in and help get more liberal candidates in office.
